During our Saturday gathering, the atmosphere was filled with inspiration, meaningful insights, and genuine professional exchange. It was an event where each speaker contributed her unique piece to a shared mosaic of knowledge, experience, and support.
🔹 Nataliya Isayeva, Ph.D.
Nataliya summarized the outcomes of the May 2025 meeting of Ukrainian scientists in Prague, spoke about the representation of the Czech‑Ukrainian Scientific Society at the @First Ukrainian‑European Science Diplomacy Forum (Vienna), and shared the achievements of the WINGS project.
A special highlight was the presentation of Příručka Rise Up: Strategie kariérního rozvoje pro ženy‑migrantky, prepared by the project participants. This handbook has become a practical tool supporting migrant women as they begin new professional paths in the Czech Republic.
🔹 Sofiia Svirska, Ph.D.
Sofiia introduced participants to the world of technology transfer — explaining why the journey from an idea to a patent is long, complex, and requires substantial scientific and legal work. Her presentation offered a clear understanding of how scientific discoveries evolve into real solutions for society.
🔹 Oksana Zamora, Ph.D.
Oksana shared valuable insights into searching for and preparing grant applications: where to find opportunities, what to pay attention to, which programs exist, and why it is crucial to select grants that match the specific team and research profile. Her guidance became a true roadmap for researchers aiming to build an international academic career.
The event proved to be exceptionally meaningful: lively discussion, many insights, productive networking, and a warm atmosphere that brought together Ukrainian scholars across the Czech Republic.
Thank you to everyone who found the time to join us and share this Saturday.
More meetings, opportunities, and collaborative projects lie ahead.
