Representatives of the Czech Ukrainian Scientific Society took part in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of BTHA on 11–12 June 2026.
The event gathered around 200 participants from academia, research institutions, and public authorities.
During the official programme, ministries of Bavaria and the Czech Republic delivered greetings, and several bilateral research projects were presented. Nataliya Isayeva and Mariya Gladysh (Марія Гладиш) introduced the organisation’s mission and ongoing cooperation between Ukrainian, Czech, and Bavarian universities.
The anniversary was part of the 5th Czech-Bavarian Higher Education Forum, which highlighted student exchanges and joint initiatives with partners in Ukraine.
Since 2016, BTHA has supported:
• 327 Czech students and 196 Bavarian students through scholarships
• 620+ joint projects involving nearly 14,000 researchers and students
We thank the organisers for the invitation and look forward to strengthening Czech–Bavarian–Ukrainian academic collaboration.
