International scientific and practical conference of young scientists and specialists

Dear colleagues!
National Scientific Center “Institute for Soil Science and Agrochemistry Research named after O. N. Sokolovsky” (NSC ISSAR) invites you to participate in International scientific and practical conference of young scientists and specialists “Contribution of Young Scientists to the Development of Soil Science and Agrochemistry and Ensuring Sustainable Development of the Agrarian Sector”, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birthday of Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Professor B. S. Nosko, (May 29, 2025).

The purpose of the conference is presenting the results of scientific research by young scientists in soil science, agrochemistry, agriculture, land reclamation and other soil-related sciences; highlighting the effective implementation of young scientists’ scientific developments in agricultural practice; reflecting the contribution of young scientists to the post-war restoration of soils and the agro-industrial sector of the economy; engaging in scientific discussions, exchanging scientific views and ideas, discussing and testing research results.

Representatives of Ukrainian and foreign research organizations, higher educational institutions – doctoral students, postgraduate students, students, employees of research, production and project structures, and agricultural producers are invited to participate in the conference.

THEMATIC AREAS OF THE CONFERENCE
– Modern methods of diagnosing soil properties, monitoring and assessing soil fertility;
– Degradation processes in soils: causes, consequences, ways to overcome;
– Soil agrochemical management for increased productivity and sustainable development;
– Biological component of soil health;
– Information technologies in soil research;
– Methodological aspects of assessing the impact of military actions on soils; reclamation and remediation of damaged lands; post-war restoration of the agricultural sector.
Working languages: Ukrainian and English
Participation form: online, on the ZOOM platform

Based on the results of the conference, an electronic collection of theses of scientific reports will be published, which will be posted on the Institute’s website. All participants of the conference who sent abstracts of the report will receive a certificate of
participation.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE:
Participation in the conference is FREE.
Please fill the application for participation and send theses of the scientific report no later than May 22, 2025 to the e-mail address of the Organizing committee: young.issar@ukr.net. You can read the requirements for theses manuscripts and oral reports at the link.
